About

Abraham E. Sabersky, MD, FAANS received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside in 2005. Following this, Dr. Sabersky was commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Army Medical Corp and received his medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA in 2009.

Dr. Sabersky completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2016. During residency, Dr. Sabersky completed a fellowship in Deep Brain Stimulation for Functional Movement Disorders. After residency, Dr. Sabersky completed a year-long Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic to specialize in Epilepsy Surgery. Dr. Sabersky is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and has been practicing medicine since 2017. From 2017 to 2022, Dr. Sabersky practiced as a Staff Neurosurgeon at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, training residents and serving as the Director of Functional and Epilepsy Surgery. During that time, he also worked at numerous hospitals around the United States as a Locums Neurosurgeon. Dr. Sabersky specializes in a broad range of general neurosurgical disciplines, with extensive experience in spinal and intracranial neurosurgery.

Dr. Sabersky has expertise and experience in stereotactic deep brain stimulation, chronic pain, epilepsy, tumors of the brain and spine, spinal degenerative disease, and trauma to the brain and spine. In Dr. Sabersky’s spare time he enjoys being outdoors, exercise, and spending time with family.
